aBeacon sound lights

i&D worked with Okeenea, the French leader in sound signage for the visually impaired, on the engineering and prototyping of aBeacon, a sound beacon allowing visually impaired people to cross the road safely.

aBeacon is coupled with conventional traffic light and brings sound to the signal, thus promoting road safety and the autonomy of a greater number.

This Okeenea innovation is now installed in major international cities, including New York.
